Ohohoho, WOW, fratello, that's so clever and beautiful! LOVE IT! If I didn't know the green glass material, I would never have even thought about asking, if that's just rendered out of sculptris, or rendered elsewhere. But now I'm honestly curious!
Fratello! ... Rendenders are from Sculptris too... only a little AO backing in Blender before start to paint (after UV automatic generation in Sculptris). Only a little addition in Photoshop (Bloom fx etc..). It's so useful have a realtime mats manage in Sculptris!
MAN, that's such a cool idea... I know I should've tried that earlier, too, but I've never been much of a baker, hahaha. Now I've tried it with Lightwave, which is INCREDIBLY easy and fast for that stuff. Frankly, I haven't touched lightwave's layouter for at least 8 years or longer. Now it took me 10 minutes to figure out how to setup a quick ambient occlusion render and it's really quick. KUDOS to those, who are left of the LW community. I'm impressed and happy!
Thanks, fratello, that's so awesome, I mean... you've given me a big BIG present with that inspiration!
Hey, fratello, uhm...would you mind jumping into the tutorial section and try to explain the workflow in blender from the start how to get to baking the ambient occlusion into an image that you can export and use in scultpris!? That would be awesome!
Ah, don't worry about it, hehe, appearantly there are enough blender expert around and you really can happily enjoy to have inspired the whole movement right now!
Between sanc and tomol the blender AO tut became perfect, I believe. And it does work stunningly well! Maybe I'll go a few rounds deeper soon. I've noticed that the Settings alone are worthy of further investigation. And the results are remarkable.
OH ...that's sooo smooth! Red Delicious! I'm really impressed with the clarity of it and the juicy colors, too! Beautiful! I so knew it, fratello, I so knew you'd pump such riches out of sculptris! I'm almost proud of myself now, hahaha! YOU ROCK! ;D
