EDIT 24.07.2010: Sorry folks ... Sculptris is now under the Pixologic banner! So I do not think it is still allowed me to host the program. Sorry!

Thanks so much! This is just what I was looking for!
Holding down command to rotate the canvas seems to work as well as shift for smoothing. Otherwise - all the tools seem to work great.

thank you very much :-) I have a dilemma - upgrade OS X or wait :-) Are you runnning MacOS X 10.5.8?? If yes can you pls test the 10.6 version on your system? I only have a relative old iMac with 10.5.8 to test and there is a graphic driver error at the startup of sculptris, so maybe it is working for you. Holding down command to rotate the canvas seems to work as well as shift for smoothing. Thanks for that hint!! ... Leto

Hi letoatrell, yes I'm user of OS X 10.5.8 also iMac (24" 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, ATI Radeon HD2600). Hope that its not NVIDIA card. (Like I can't test Octane Render from this reason). Your 10.6 version gives me this error (see attachment) Your app launch as Sculptris 3 and that continue as X11 that gives me "Error". After I tried to move with this error note came up the "Program Error" (looks like was only hidden somewhere) Sorry for desciption :-) Attachments:

Updated the first post! ... MacOS X 10.5.8 works now, but you have to install the newest version of X11! (link is in the first post) build up a new version (dmg this time)

Great to here that it works!!! ... So I'm still testing around to make some more shortcuts work, specially UNDO via shortcut would be very comfortable. For now you have to use the tablet menu to do this but as I sayed I hopefully fix this issue soon! ...

Hi letoatrell
Please can you tell me if your Sculptris mac version will run on Leopard OSX 10.5.8 running on a G4 Chip; or does it require an Intel chip. I read also that i would have to upgrade my current X11 to the version downloaded from the link you have provided.
Cheers.
Gary.

Hi letoatrell
Unfortunately your Mac version will not load or work on my Mac running OSX Leopard 10.5.8 on a G4 chip, even though i can mount the sculptris.dmg file the sculptris app icon displays an circle with a line through it icon; i have seen this on apps meant only for Macs using intel chips; so it seems sadly this Mac version of Sculptris will not run on my Mac.
Cheers.
Gary.
