taron-- hi taron, thank you. I am intentionally not making the leaf, i think it will be a little difficult for me. may be some other time. ok, then i am going with the texturing. ya, your texture is nice but the material seem very shiny like a glass apple, not as a real one. tsukijin-- hi tsukijin, yours is a nice model and a great texture. How did you do the leaf. cadiac-- hi cadiac, your model is nice, but i think you should improve on the leaf a little bit. The texture is also nice.

Nice apples guys! Here's mine but I think I skipped the 2nd rule, "only Sculptris", because I wanted to test photoshop for texturing :/ I don't remember reading that in the rules [and I'm too lazy to scroll up...] but It Matters Not! You did yet another badass apple for this thread. Can't wait to see the next ones. tsukijin-- hi tsukijin, yours is a nice model and a great texture. How did you do the leaf. Thanks sreenivas, The leaf was done by adding a "New Plane" into the scene then I just sculpted the plane so that it would look like a leaf. Of course I found out that pulling the spiked edges with the grab tool on the leaf tends to crash the program if there are too many triangles on the mesh edges near where I'm pulling from why is it coming out of the apple and not from the stick? Nice, Thanks Taron [got it right this time ] I guess I had skipped that material. ^^ It's in my arsenal now. The leaf is coming out like that because the reference image I found on google lied to me. haha check it out.

OK, just try to follow my train of thought here . . ;D I tried to make the apple, but it turned into Frankensteins Monster. Once I started to do that, I figured I would Google-image some Frankensteins Monster references. Once I did that if found out that good old Franky has been the star of more than a few comic books and graphic novels. And THAT my friends, gave me the idea for the next Challenge!!! ;D ;D ;D Superhero Mask Reference Challenge!!!!!!!!! Lots of freedom to do as you wish on this one. After a lengthy image search I found a great reference pic. But if anyone wants to do i different mask then found here, or try to make their favorite masked hero/villian, they are more than welcome. Interesting! So this is as much a painting challenge as it is a modelling challenge. I like it.

sreenivas - thanks, I know I rushed the leaf I also didn't figure out to add a new plane to the scene, that would've helped a lot. And thanks for comments everyone Hmm, the new challenge seems interesting, I got to make an entry as soon as I have time ;o

sreenivas: You're cute! I have a baby kitten right now that somehow reminds me of you, when it comes to gratitude. It's clever for what it is, but it often overestimates itself. ...however, naturally you're right. Forgive me! griffm: Huh? Ehehe...ahm, I don't know how to put it to you, but... let's make this a weekly thing and we'll think of something next week! To do what you're asking right now, people would have to have at least a decent human head, which would be a challenge all by itself and then either paint on or painstakingly graft on a mask, which might end up fun, but that's really more advanced that you may realize, yet. Let's try to stick to clear subjects for a few weeks. Something that people can immediately recognize and that helps them to evaluate their own advances, you know. You could've posed a snake as a challenge based on some reference or something like that. I'd say, good idea, but let's save this one for later!? (Good sculpt, though! I like it.)

I have an idea for this challenge, I will see if I can come up with anything... I have 2 monitors now so it should be much easier to use references. (my roommate had a spare...)
