Thanks liquidhrome. Seen some great stuff from you so far as well.
Here's another update. Had a lot to get done with the yard so I didn't put in a lot of time today on this one. Added in some fingers finally. This new camera makes doing fingers a hundred times easier than alpha3.

quirkusmandible Thanks. I had originally tried to texture that one when ver1 came out. Something with the texture mapping was making a part of the texture from the tooth project onto the rest of the mouth behind it. I guess I could have shortened the teeth so it didn't happen, but it was also just when the new version was out so I wanted to try out all the new things the new version had to offer. ;D I think I've got most of the tools down by now though so I may just go back to that one to see what it could be.
Didn't finish modeling the werewolf yet, but I wanted to try and add some color to it. Figured I'd post the result of that bit of fun. Didn't need to add any DOF to it, but I did anyway...lol.

After painting a bit of the werewolf I realized it's a bit too much like a regular wolfs head on a mans body rather than the melding of the two that I'd rather do for a werewolf. So, that's the end for that model for now. But, I had some time tonight and had no idea what to model. Decided to go a bit more cartoony with this one. Haven't finished the feet or hands yet.

Thanks wasa. I was hoping to try out as many different things as I can with Sculptris right now. I think it's the best way for me to learn the program. I'm kind of glad that I never used any of those other sculpting programs with everything I keep hearing from others on this forum. I'm sure I'm missing out on a few things, but I also can't miss any of the features I've never used...lol. This program is way too much fun anwway.

Not really a full sculpt, I just wanted to test out the tools for doing something a bit different. With some time, sculptris would be a pretty easy way to make some interesting concept cars. So far it's the only time I've really used the smooth tool, but it was quite useful. Might have to try one before too long.
Edit: for a great example, go and see tarons new spaceship

Thanks wasa. That's a pretty good idea. I still haven't used seperate objects in sculptris yet. I'll have to try that with the next one. When you go to paint do you have to select each object to paint it or does it kind of collapse down to a single mesh? Also for exporting, are the new objects selectable? Just kind of wondering, I haven't done any exporting yet but I was considering creating some full models and using them for some detailed animated sprites. Beats all the photoshop drawing I've had to do for each frame before...lol.

Got a chance to use multiple objects on this one (it really is quite a help with some areas). Textured it in that challenge thread. I like it a bit more this way since a lot of the details in the legs and tail get covered up with some of the color.
