I can't view those links, they end up as blank pages. Are you importing an object with very few triangles? There's a piece of code that tesselates an object multiple times as long as it has less than 2000 triangles, or something like that. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it, as it might be confusing. The general recommendation is to always subdivide to a relatively high density before importing, to avoid sharp corners etc.
I dont know what the deal is with that. its a flash file, remove the html and the swf will play. its 5600 polys. I never go high, my models are to be used for games. specifically animation, I import the body in but I dont add polygons to it. but I reshape it. I was doing this in zbrush before. zbrush can handle polys or tris. yours only handles tris, but I work with nurbs. which makes tri meshes. so I can make something compatible. zbrush is like clay, your program is like a liquid. its better for this sort of thing. a great deal better, its not even close
I didnt know that, I just tried it and the same thing happened. Ill upload a regular flash version tomorrow. look at it in internet explorer if possible, without removing html. the middle is the center line. its not actually broken that gets deleted. when I send it back to my main app. once you see the last link you will see there is no problem with center
this is in shockwave, a 3d player. its untextured and you can see there are no problems with the geometry. in a realtime engine. with an untextured model, if there is a problem with any of the vertices. its visible
