Well some sunday weirdness: dl.dropbox.com/u/23734386/cs12-09_Wheel.smuMessed up the FerryTale thingie template a bit much for it lol. It's rather dense and also just all over the place... should be fun.. I hope. Think it fits cs12-09: "Wheel of Life" Can't say I am done with it, hehe. But well.. if I would only post finished things ...I wouldnt be posting at all.

Wow, man, this starts off fantastic already. I'm writing as I'm listening. Gorgeous atmosphere. OMG, what's happening now? A bit like an old gramophone playing in the background. Fantastic! Wow, this is one exciting tune! Musically and sound wise absolutely exciting. You're raising the bar, ferryman! Could be for some french movie, slightly artsy, romantic, modern, edgy, full of character. I'm totally delighted right now. Thanks and Congrats! Fantastico!

Hey, Tug, that's a nice tune, too, by the way. Nice melancholy there in a chiptuney way. ...kinda feels like death or departure in some way. "It's been a nice roll, sorry I gotta hitch a ride now" sort of thing, hehe. Great stuff!

Yeah, listening back its better then I expected. Hehe. You know when you spend much time in a row working on one song, and it just doesnt sound half as good when you revisit it. Glad to hear you liked it! Hey, Tug, that's a nice tune, too, by the way. Nice melancholy there in a chiptuney way. ...kinda feels like death or departure in some way. "It's been a nice roll, sorry I gotta hitch a ride now" sort of thing, hehe. Great stuff! Indeed an elegy of kinds. Reminded me of homesickness, contemplating about things unreachable. I really would like to hear some lirics on top somehow, hehe. Reminded me also of a Dutch musician-artist named Spinvis.

Hey, you too! Im really looking forward to 2013 =] Oh Yes... HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of us! ...may it bring excellent musagi updates and even more fantastic masterpieces of all of us! ;D YAY And yes! Since this thread is dated now... any of you know any good multi-track looper software- for realtime loops? I tried some but anything apart from ableton live seems to have problems with the real-time part. Might get a hardware looper, if I am gonna pay for it, but still wonder if I might be missing a nice software solution. cheers ^^

Speaking of atmosphere, I recently listened to one of Taron's packaged example songs and felt the need to make a flash out of it. dl.dropbox.com/u/28245927/cosmos.swfSorry that I don't have anything to show for my years of inactivity. I think I have developed a musical impairment and cannot match the quality of my first Musagi songs. EDIT: Also sorry that it's over 2.5 megabytes and I can't into loaders

Trippy, how many particles are you rendering? Fairly impressive for flash, Cool

tugBUT thanks guess I'll ask around and google some more on what hardware to get. shnitzelkiller, I was waiting for the ending but... loop, Hehee. Also, I am thinking maybe we can use a quasi off topic chat thread in the musagi subforum? Not that its so busy here, but still,

tugBUT thanks guess I'll ask around and google some more on what hardware to get. I know Alesis and Tascam have quite a reputation for that stuff. My dad owns a lot of their products and he seems pretty satisfied =]

Uuuhhh, Aaahhhh, Shnitzelkiller!!!!!! That's such a wonderful flashback, haha! THANK YOU! ...hmmm, I was going to look at actionscript audio stuff...would be so freaking cool to have a musagi player for it, hehehe. Or maybe a whole new app, who knows. Seems capable. Anyway, thanks again, what a delightful compliment! Wished it was a bit interactive, but it's a great mediation aid!

Unfortunately, because of flash's horrid sound manager, playing any dynamically generated audio results in up to 850ms latency. So, live playing isn't really an option. No reason you couldn't make a sequencer, though. Actually, I've recently been messing around with such things. I'll post a link when I have a stable build if you want.
Anyway, who's up for a 2013 challenge thread?
