Alrighty, here I shall post a little gallery of minute clips, showing my sculptris doodle sessions.
I'm trying to keep them short and spicy, but all in realtime. Maybe at some point I'll hang on until one thing is done completely, but for the meantime...

Here are the first clips. (I'm trying different methods of delivering them, so bare with me, please!) taron-cam002.avitaron-5min_004(watch out, techsmith has put a bandwidth limit on it so this might not show for a while! I just got the notification. Better stick with Vimeo!) ...next will be a youtube clip, which is still getting processed. After that a vimeo approach, which still has to wait until I get that darn activation email...pffff...

I'm in the process of rebuilding my computer a bit, and this placeholder netbook ain't stellar with video playback. I did watch your screamer youtube video though, and it was very entertaining. You get crazy mileage out of the crease tool.
I will grab some popcorn and watch the rest when I have a decent machine working again.
Videos are great, I hope we get a lot more of them. Useful to get a feel for how people are using the app, as well. I should probably add a modifier to get smooth from any tool, like shift (as someone mentioned).

HAHAHA....makes me wonder if you could've noticed how many times I was actually doing that...holding shift in hopes it would smooth! ;D ;D ;D Yup, a better idea for sure!

I'm loving this. Watching Taron Ninja carve out a model is like standing there looking over his shoulder. I'm already lke, "Dang, I gotta try that Crease then smooth action!" instead of drawing a lumpy line and trying to wrestle it back into what I intended... Question:
Do you use a mouse or a Tablet Taron?

Thank you, samartin and wikkid! Here's a cute one for a change... To me the Crease tool is one of the most ingenius and versatile tools in there as you can not only use it inwards for it's original motivation (I assume), but outwards for ridges, large scale for complex deformations, sharp edges, fine adjustments, it's wonderful. I should make an even more obvious example...hmmm... Anyway, I'm very happy, if I can inspire you to play around with this some more. It's powerful and fun stuff!

Taron, would you be happy creating a group on Vimeo for Sculptris videos?
I ask, as I have one cooking at the moment, I will upload in a few mins, I'm more than happy to create the group but you are the master @ Sculptris! Nice Sealy too...

Uh, that's an interesting idea... just today I've joined Vimeo, so I'll have to have a look at how things roll over there, but I'll gladly start the group unless Tomas would prefer to do it himself?! There you go: www.vimeo.com/groups/37966Tomas, I hope you don't mind?! (Oh glory, pfff, now I'm the moderator of it, too...I really, really hope I'm not imposing.)

Vimeo is a great website, and having the opportunity to categorise and moderate certain videos is a good thing I'm 54% through uploading It will be a HD version I think...

While you're at it, you may even start a personal little clip board in the subforum here!? I hope you don't mind me suggesting that. It just feels, ehm...more organized and I can't wait to see your treasure trove fill with your clips then, too! Thanks for making me start the group, I'm kinda getting excited about it. All the while I'm deadly scared, since I'm not percisely a beacon of consistency (or of people who know how to properly spell beacon). ...BUT I shall try!

Taron - are you using Alpha3 or the MT version?

<hey cgtiger, alpha3. MT was still too buggy and had no undo.> Here's another one from last night. Vimeo really tries to push one to buy the service, which is why I was encouraged to sleep through the night rather than wait for it. But here it is now, another doodle dude...
