I apologize if this has been written about somewhere else, and if you would like to refer me to where I should put these in the future, please let me know ;D. I am having some issues running Musagi t1.65.I downloaded it and open it, but it "shuts down unexpectedly" each time.1.64 worked fine for me. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be?I have windows xp media center edition if that helps.
-On a side note, thank you DrPetter for making such an awesome program.I am interested in writing music as a career, and it is great to have software like this to create with. I was also a huge NES fan, and being able to make retro game music is a dream come true. Thanks again! Sorry for writing so much, but I am new here on the forums and have been wanting to say that for a while!
Make sure you extract the musagi.exe of t1.65 into your musagi t1.64's folder. Then it should just work fine. It will not work anywhere outside of that folder!
If you really just want to do retro music you can always stick with DrPetter's original musagi and not my mod. I went quite a bit away from the pure retro sound. It still does that quite well, too, though. Just a lot more temptation to depart from retro.
Thank you Taron. I really appreciate it. I feel kinda dumb I didn't try that before.Anyway, I do enjoy the retro tunes, but your mod is amazing as well. I listened to some of your demo songs and the great things you can do on this new version, and I really look forward to seeing what I can come up with.I may be tempted to come up with some more complex songs as well.
Can't wait to hear what you come up with! I'm still trying to think of a nice way to organize songs that are made with the mod. But since it's still evolving, it might be good that it's not too organized just yet.
