Somehow I always fumble, trying to use the 'loop part' feature. I've succeeded once in doing so, after reading it somewhere... but I can't remember where. Could someone step-by-step explain what I should do and see, to loop parts, please? Thanks in advance.
p.s. using 'clone' isn't that bad either...
If you don't live for your dreams, you don't have much to live for.
Yep! If you go through my songs, you'll find out that I progressively reduce the use of loops until I eventually just stopped using them altogether. The magic key is CTRL+D. Once I found out about the hotkeys, everything changed and I made more complete songs with less pain. Great fun! ctrl+c = copy ctrl+d = duplicate
The interface can be a little annoying as soon as the view as to scroll. You can only rely on the mouse pointer and not on the ghosted pattern during placing it (at least on my machine). I should check in the code, if I can find the bug, actually...hmmm...
Hey, you're right! It doesn't say so in the documentation. I must have read it somewhere here on the forum.
Hold Ctrl while clicking MMB to create a clone of the currently selected part. Parts with more than one instance present are marked with an orange lower half. Anything done to one of them affects all clones.
