Turning off all the reverbs helps it a great deal. It's quite chaotic, that's very true. It develops some interesting moments as soon as the arpeggios come in. Feels a little bit like you're still looking for a clearer line in there. It's like each instruments wants to be something special that doesn't need all them other pesky sounds. ;D The bass is also a bit overpowering, trying to be more than just a bass. But, overall, I think you're really something like a raw diamond. Great potential and massive energy. Lead it some more and become the pack leader of your sounds, haha. Rock on!

Thanks for the compliments I had complaints about the bass before; but that sound almost sends shivers down my spine About the 'clear line'... You know those moments your attention shifts from one instrument to another. That is pretty sweet. But I think I have been focusing on getting such moments too much. (In fact: only. It's the only thing I've ever been practising.) I've never wondered what doesn't produce such moments (i.e. consistency). So, I've also never been concerned about controlling to which instrument your attention actually shifts. I am just now realizing these things... Time to grow! Thanks again.

From 2:06 the distorted percussion works very well. I agree it doesnt need the reverb. The mp3 didnt work on my side... but well the smu did. Fun explorative tune. It's like a train with too many animals stuffed on it. But fun animals indeed. The elephant can't get over some mouse he had seen. And uses to many words to describe the same thing.

But, I like using an unnecessary amount of words to describe what I'm trying to confer. Nah, I see what you're getting at. Two little brainfarts for entertainment purposes only (and to keep up with you guys ): You know when your all inspired, and your getting into a rush and everything you are doing seems right and opening new possibilities, and then the program crashes. At that moment you are left with the error message on screen, the only option the acknowledgement of the error, and the playback of your song. But you did something so weird that you can't remember or quite make out what it was: making the continued playback as an abstract echo of what was one second ago the product of your mind. Ever had that?Long story short:This sounded way differently before. But I still like the way how the bass sounds like a heartbeat. www.mediafire.com/?kxcw9ba19roda9k"Improvisation": I succeeded to let go of as much as possible when making this one. (Didn't work out with the previous one.) A small personal victory. www.mediafire.com/?slepq4gq5b1ut64By the way, Ferryman Hymn, are you Dutch?

Yes, Dutch. Nice farts sir. Again the reverb isnt so fitting perhaps. but the overal feel is very nice indeed. (I mean for the song not a fart) For the NC one I like the bit between 0:17 and 0:23 best. Could expand on that maybe.

Tehehe, on "nc.smu" I wasn't sure, if it's somehow broken on my version of musagi, haha. I'm still not totally sure, hihihi. The "dumbdownxf.smu" has some excellent moments starting at 1:15, if you ask me. Start the song that way and get a great tune done for my taste! (the off-beat changes don't work too well for me, though. Doesn't have to be that complicated, really.)

Hymn, I expanded... but this is probably totally not what you meant ;D www.mediafire.com/file/i0glt1jdi47omz7/ncpam.smuThere are a few decent variations in there... (I don't think the file is broken; it's my head that's broken.) Taron, I've now tried expanding dumbdownxf, but it's really troublesome. because there's lots of room for jazzy solo-esque patterns; and I'm really random.

Well, let's have at it (dumbdownxf), then! Maybe I can have a look... (hehe, had to fraun and then kinda giggle after "madness" on ncpam, haha)

Ha! "A frown and a giggle"; that was exactly what I was going for. Dumbdownxf is now at a stage where it's almost completed... But I've made sort of a collage out of it. Working on it does/did inspire me though. I'm working on two pretty cool songs. (One of which has been in my head for 11 years ) Nevertheless, I almost literally found this on my attic (on an USB stick) and finished it. (I only added an ending). It's cute... www.mediafire.com/?s87ni98ckdb634iI will try to find some time/computer to listen all of your songs too. BTW Ik ben also Dutch.

Hoi Nice tune. Hehe, there should be a game made just to fit this tune. Something with balloons.

Balloons you say? I had more the impression of glaciers, while making that; with an eerie undertone of circus. On a side note, I think I'm literally going crazy because of the time I've spent sequencing. So a little break for me. I did finish give up on the dumbdownfx expansion: www.mediafire.com/file/wu8o0glqk89dyd2/ddxf2c1def.smus out.

ddxf2c1def.smu is nice, has a Double Dragon feel to it at start. The ending is fun too. The opuf1i2.smu needs some other sounding percussion i think. Bit less bass and no reverb might do the trick. Anyway keep em comming.

I'm not familiar with Double Dragon's music... But if you say it sounds like music, I'll take it as a compliment ;D New song. Starts out less erratic than usual, but of-course I had to put a solo or two in there >_> www.mediafire.com/file/e7bgx18rok6aed5/s-mdw_0a.smu[Edit] The last two files I had uploaded actually weren't the final versions; I mixed 'em up. So I decided to mix (no pun intended) them like recommended. I had also made a version of the first song.
