Celtic3D liked the "glow" of my pumpkin that much, that I decided to do a short tut. on that.
In this forum there is a chance to find it. Therefore I am posting it here.
I realy did a rough paint job on the pumpkin.
I didn't care for fine details. To make this visible I used a flat material:

Not really nice.
Second i created a material for light:

In this step you already see all the bumps which were added.
And you see that the colored button under the material preview is not active.
Third I made a material for the glow with macrea and a pumpkin pic as reflection sphere.
If you place this as a second material you won't see anything.
You have to activate the Edit" button below the material preview.
Make sure that the paint option is checked an that hardness is on minimum.
If you paint on the object you will define the area this material will be seen. Bumps can be also used for editing the Material mask while you have "combine color and bump" in the options menu checked. (The material mask and the mask function on the very left menu is not the same, I guess.)

Next I used a material I found here in the forum for some greenish atmo:

Again with the edit button checked I draw the visible area for this material.
Same with a kind of pearl material for teeth etc.:

That's it more or less. The rest is playing around and testing.
So far, I was never able to get things working like i want. Not from the beginning. I tried several things and "suddenly" sculptris made what I had in mind.
The big disadvantage of this way on texturing is, that the exported texture is more or less the same like the first pic.
I haven't found a way to get those materials and it's masks working in another application.
If there is an idea - don't hesitate to post it in here.
