I have experimented a bit with multiple objects in Sculptris, and trying to make them blending together using the clay brush. A quick example with this :
into this :
But as you can see, the junctions are visually not really nice as those tearings are noticable by the eyes. And if the smooth brush is used on those zones, those junctions become much uglier , being even more noticable.
Is there some tricks to make those junction "tearings" much less noticable, or should i be better with a retopo or a boolean merging in Blender from the start and come back to sculpt in Sculptris ?
Something that can be very usefull in making a quick exploitable shape for sculpting purpose, as metaballs merge together seamlessly when close to each other, without any need of boolean merging. So once you're finished with your basic shape, you convert the whole thing into a mesh and can then obtain a sculptable object.
Example, this quick shape made from some metaballs and meta tubes :
Once converted into a mesh (notice the topology is not really good) :
Then ready to sculpt after export/import into Sculptris 1.02 :
Better alternative than trying to use multiple spheres in Sculptris, as Sculptris can't blend them seamlessly.
