Same to you and your family! Wow, now that's one brilliant observation. It's weird when one channels these songs into existence, they sometimes remain a mystery until somebody else reveals their true nature. Thanks!
Some of those songs I've had for a while and been listening once in a while because I liked them i.e. 8bitsong and tuney (is that an ordinary c scale?!). Jazzychipfx is cool too. chip007h is nice ambient with a variation that I like. Only when it loops it feels too much like I'm hearing the same thing again. I think that song could easily take 2 minutes or more of 'laying low' before looping. I think that would put everything more in place. trancient hangs to trance; I personally prefer the normal version over the fx version, for having more distinct sounds. Also the intro is too long, being so pronounced IMHO. From the title I thought I was going to like 'hard' for all the awesome sounds. Instead I like it because of the transition between parts. ;D Can't really tell why that is...
If you don't live for your dreams, you don't have much to live for.
AH, Thanks, s, it's been a while since the last messages here. I kinda wished there was a bit more action on the forum, but then again, it allows me to slowly improve my mod without much regrets. I have a new version up, but it changes the noise of the chip a bit much for all older mod songs. I'm thinking about putting in a compatibility mode, but for now it's best to keep [t1.67] around for the older [t1.x] songs.
However, I have some tracks already for the new version, of course.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated. I agree with all of it, actually. At the end they are all merely sketches and some really deserve a bit more attention.
Some new experiments with [t1.68]... Blah.smu - pushy little bugger, blahblahblah. ;D Dive.smu - cheesy and relaxing little tune Spit.smu - spitting it...jazzy, too. Some fun drum tests. Check the snare!
