xnes_tuney01fx.smu Hehe, for this tune alone a game should be made to have it in the end credits. Could be slower in the build up, perhaps. ^^ breakamios.smu Nice, kinda reminds me of some of the katamari songs. police.smu Your M Jackson style but then a very lushious twist. Love that twist.

WAAAHHH, Katamari... man, that's the creepy touch it reminded me of. I couldn't for the life of it put my finger on it, hahaha. Reminds me of our challenge to make voices, where a good katamari style weirdness could've come up, too. Anyway... THANKS! ;D Breakamios is somehow quite precious to me for some reason. Not too many of my musagi tunes are really precious to me, but the collection is growing. Police is one right on the threshold... it's its own thing somehow. Not sure if MJ style is what I would've seen in it, but certainly 80's pop again. Maybe a bit more Depeche Mode and those sort of bands. xnes_tuney is vicious, I think, because it has this mean borderline "earworm" thing, which kinda comes back half and the other half is a blur as one remembers the melodies. But it's certainly one of the happier tunes, hehehe. It has an eery soul, i think. Feels like it's one of the most foreign songs to me, kind of like something possessed me, hahahaha. And I must always hear that guitar-lead all the way to the end, haha. Would really make a nice end for a game. Very, very true! I wonna play that now! ;D Thanks for the fantastic feedback. I missed that again. It's really a bit too damn quiet over here. Hopefully Tomas and I can eventually shake things up again.

At least not quiet there. ;D And yes, musagi 2 you are hinting at I am guessing? I am curious about it. Recently also been growing more eviouse of people who can come up with, and write, such wonderfull tools. Best I can do seem to be making unfinished messy scripted games combining a lot of examples others did before me. And yes Breakamios its great...Somehow made me look up this katamari song. They are not alike at all. But its also very nice tune. ;D Haha, dunno where I am going with this, I need more coffee.

That game was something else. I flipped through some of the youtube clips and ran into the one that eventually collects the whole universe, hahaha...funny. Anyway, here's a curiously boring song, kinda like a tune you'd hear, if you were on hold on the phone, pffff...anyway. Easy listening, I suppose. Fun sounds, though... patience.smu - Easy Listening with plenty of lead sounds and a deep atmosphere. Maybe a bit drowned, not sure.

Well, maybe if you were on hold on the phone of some cartoony space petshop. Hmm, not drowned like its too much at any given moment. But a bit to dense in time i think. Perhaps stretch some of the parts where less happens.

You've reached 1-800-Apolloniaris station. All our replidroids are currently offline. For urgent transport needs, please call 9-1-1-scotty, seek your nearest stasis pods for RPR (reduced patience requirement) or stay on the line for some soothingly hypnotic sound induction.
LOL 8)))
Thanks, Ferryman!

While we're in space.... trancient.smu - no, no, it's not a spelling mistake! }

(me so dumb!) updated " trancient.smu" again. Mixer was picked as an instrument, which happens a bit too often to me. When you work with [t1.67] you have to watch out for that. In reality, mixer should not be exactly like an instrument or at least have it's own kind of pattern setup, avoiding this sort of mistake. There I go having been all proud that I figured out how to let you play a sound that's hooked into the mixer while editing on the mixer itself. TIP: When you make a new instrument, make a pattern for it before you even start hooking it into the mixer! TIP: Never make a pattern while you are editing on the mixing!

trancient.smu
Hehe, the intro set me on the wrong foot. I was thinking... here it comes... some Michael Nyman type of brilliance. But that expectation lasted 3 blocks. ;D Still something in there tho. Maybe use the "non percussion" as percussion, and avoid any "normal" percussion instruments. So, a bit like when you mute instr 4, 5, 6 and 11. And then perhaps add some more heavy lines for drama... It would be a whole other song right in there.
;D

Michael Nyman? Anyway... sorry it ain't brilliant, hehe. Feel free to modify it and see, if it has hopes for some brilliance! ;o)

Michael Nyman? Anyway... sorry it ain't brilliant, hehe. Hehe, with Michael Nyman type of brilliance I mainly meant that percussion thing. I know he didn't invent that, and I guess a piano is also percussion. But yeah... free association. Things like this and thisCool, might be fun. ^^

PAHAHA, sounds like Philipp Glass with a hammering migraine and the prohibition to use arpeggios... LOL. And then played by a band of gipsies at a New Orleans funeral. Interesting. ;D Bet he loves "Kuca", the Bosnian Trumpet festival kinda stuff. It also sounds like as if somebody wanted to do an instrumental version of a good old C64 tune, hehehehe.... wild and eh...somehow mildly infantile, if I may say so with all due respect, really...or rather...immature, really. Can't help it, I really don't mean that in too bad a way, just a feeling that comes to me, when I hear that chaos of such great aspiration and reliance on a decent command of musical theory. I'm absolutely not thrilled, but fascinated. ...to be fair, I should say some of that about my own dabbling, which really lacks a certain kind of educational wisdom, if there is such a thing. I never paid full attention to any of my songs or song-constructions. Therefore they all are immature themselves. That makes me wonder if my music may ever reach maturity and what that might become?! Kind of motivating...hmmm... YEEES, please, join in, I'm sure it'll be fun! 8)

I see what you mean. The second one is a bit random, forcefully unengaged. The version I know of that last one is without any piano. Guess he wanted to join his own show by playing it anyway.
Been messing with trancient... It does grow on you. I kinda think i have to just let it go now. Maybe some other time when it comes more naturel. I think the most trouble I had with it is the percussion. Either it kicks in too soon.. or it makes the whole thing sound like a remix of something more grant and obscure.
Anyway thanks, and keep em comming.
/me listens to test10 ^^

trancient.smu - a bit of a remix, but rather just with a nicer intro, I think. Still begs for more and deserves it, too, I think...but well. It's a start! 8)

Three new little bits... Jazzal.smu - very calm loop to relax and reflect a little. hard.smu - in a way it tells of the hard work on simple seeming things. crap.smu - well, I wasn't sure what to do with this and how to think about it, but it offers something a bit weirder. It's also rather calm. I always have to yawn listen to it.
