blueferret, cheers mate. just another quick update. i manged to symmetry the wings but still warp them enough to make it look very asymmetrical. I'm tempted to put like snakes mixed in with the monstrosity. lol, sorta signifying that its beginning to corrupt. Attachments:

Man, you came in with a bang! You sculpt like someone with balls of steel, lol. Definitely not afraid to go big, which is something I admire. I know this is a wip but I'm waiting for those hands to get refined . Cheers

I've been struggling with my motivation for the past 3 years, pretty much since i am working in the game industry as an animator, but working on nothing personally inspiring. which is pretty grueliling for an artist. So all this stuff is literally pouring out of my head without limitations, and only because sculptris is so bloody liberating. I've tried mudbox once. but had no idea how to use it well. Then zbrush, and i thought everything was backwards in it heh. Even the controlling system. but yeah. hopefully i can establish a simple pipeline with scultpris, (and possibly blender, if i want to do normal mapping on low poly work.) so far things are looking good.... apart from maya not being able to handle shit when i export it.

They certainly seem to have you in the wrong department. I'd prefer to see that and whatever else you have in that imagination of yours in some games.

I'd prefer to see that and whatever else you have in that imagination of yours in some games. haha, I've tried and given my company many ideas, but they seem to have set there goals on kids games and sports title... (exactly what i told them i didn't want to work on, in my interview.. funny enough) but its hard for small company's to look past quick and easy sales here. or even look at your game pitch at all. So ... im a drone for now, and probably will be up until the games industry livens up, here in down under... XD Animation was my forte, when i got hired. When I started 3d stuff at an academy here in Australia, I loved everything in my courses from concepting, designing, texturing to animation and modeling/sculpting... except rigging of course, i still hate it lol, I assumed 3d art in the game industry involved you doing everything at some point in the company ... how wrong i was lol

Wild works! Congratulations! I'm very much hoping you are planning to continue with it and squeeze it through some nice painting sessions?! Really neat stuff!

Really neat stuff! thanks Taron. yeah i wish i had more interesting updates but now its just detailing the model of the angel then i'm definitely planning on painting up the model. i don't think it could work to well without fine feather details and possible scale details. I had a slight play around with the bump and texturing tool. seems pretty smooth. but the more i play around with something even as a test the more i end up being totally determined on finishing it and polishing it..... OCD. side note..... bah i was going to upd. but i lost 3 hours worth of work just now.... twitch... ohwell tomorow...

Is that ALL a single sculpt at the moment then? Crazy!
"(exactly what i told them i didn't want to work on, in my interview.. funny enough) "
Did you watch the Wire, where Jimmy gets the Boat assignment.
"So, tell me, where don't you wanna go?".

"So, tell me, where don't you wanna go?". i know right, heh. The first pic of the angel with the one wing was all one object. I was planning to do leave it like that. but its just over kill on Sculptris, so i separated the wings from the body, and i work on them separately now.
