Nice start, mate! Is it aaa.....kind of goblin coming out of a ball... err... sphere!? Spehes are possessed these days! Suggestion: come with some slight creases to define the junction of the nostril and the face, to define the lips maybe, and the jaw line? Keep it up mate!
okay a little update on this thing. Not really sure where this one is going, and since this is an exercise of trying to bind sculptris to my brain cells in a fashion where I'm not worried about the outcome, there's always the possibility that this may do another 180, lol.
PS- MaCrea is a nice little joint to play with too
Still working on this one but gonna have to call it done soon. I'm hitting 500,000 tris and the reduce brush is going to have to get dirty . Using it is an art in itself; trying to reduce areas but not let them get mushy. I tried a Paint test last night and my computer is definitely huffing & puffing, even if I hide everything except the area of interest. Something else that puzzled me was when I tried painting bumps they were pixelated to hell (I started at 2048, maybe I should try higher??? idk)
@ Apothio - The DOF is apart of the native Sculptris image exporting options - very cool.
@ fixor - still laughing? lol.
BG - is Taron's...
and I made some materials using his app MaCrea (which also Rocks!... Thank's Taron!), will I'll post them later today.
Wasn't expecting that either ... Btw as I was writing the above sentence I wrote "epcting" instead of "expecting". The spell check plugin for mozilla marked it as a mistake so I right clicked on it and the first suggestion was ... "erecting" ... hmmmm Anyway, interesting work!
okay, I think I'm calling this thing done for now. I hit the 500,000 tris cpu buster on my machine, texturing is definitely not going to happen at this level. I was gonna add some proper feet with toes among other things, but can't dwell right now. I'll surely come back to this when I have some time to seriously break out the reduce-brush and go to work on this. .
