Hello everyone, a friend o mine showed me sculptris since he knows that im interested in 3d modeling. i used to work with c4d and fine with box modeling and poly by poly. dr petter, thank you for showing me this new way of modeling. i never got into silo or zbrush and i was impressed how easy scultris works. here is my first wip. img145.imageshack.us/img145/2271/kraken01.jpgcheerio grazellka

thanks a lot! i always wanted to build a octopus, but i never got the nerve to build it in c4d. i think next step is to paint it and to render a nice piture... but i still dont know i export the textures, so i can use it in c4d. i would apreciate hints cheerio grazellka

sweet model, indeed about the export textures problem - when you switch Sculptris to paintmode it will assign UV coordinates to your model. You then paint the model and when done, you hit the advanced settings button. This will give you options to save diffuse, bump and normals. Remember to export the model when you are in Sculptris paint mode to the .obj format which will leave the uv-coordinates intact. Import the model i c-4d. Render, and show us the final image. hope this helps. /boom
