All I gotta say is - WOW! Some really great style!
question - and i should probably do a poll on this... Have you studied anatomy at some point, if so, what kind of study? books? life-drawing? etc?
I really like your works.
I do not think that there is a shortcut or work around, without studying anatomy. You just need to learn it.
I have not studied anatomy at a school or somewhere else. I also do not live with anatomy studies day and night, but what I do is to sketch and draw here and there to refine what I know. I sometimes sketch from anatomy books, sometimes from photographs. One of the best ways to do it is to draw from live figure if you can.
The only thing to stay away from is to study anatomy from comic books. This is pretty much a no no in view. If you do your figures will look like works of everyone else who studies from comic books.

I am personally no more interested in contributing to an app that I have no idea about its future. It is probably best if the admins would delete this topic. Looks pretty odd without seeing what people were replying to.
On the other hand I wish good luck to Dr.Petter at his new job. Hopefully his contribution to Pixologic will improve Zbrush. Pixologic has been always a good company, although it does not mean they will remain that way forever.
That was some really great stuff you had in this thread. Too bad you don't want to leave it for the future. I don't think sculptris will be ditched thou. From what I read it seems to me that they intend to develop it further. I look forward to it
