Don't have a 3D printer? Please take a look at RepRap.
This program was undoubtably made for 3D printers (Well, not literally, but it should be). It has great potential and in ~5 years, more and more people will be having access to 3D printer technology. Having your own physical statues is something everyone would want, right?
Yup, that's ingenius! Love the general idea behind RepRap for sure! I'm very curious how it evolves...and how harmful the outgasing is of the molten plastic, but other than that: Rock'n'Roll! THANKS for sharing!
Those 3D printer tech looks interesting, i have seen some documentary about professional usage, but the prices were way way too expensive for considering personnal hobbyist usage.
From reading, building a reprap machine cost +/- 350$ in material, not really cheap, but at least not in the x0.000$ i saw for other kind of machine. Maybe with time, the material cost will lower and the 3D printers will become much more affordable.
