I've wanted to get back into 3d for a long time now. Sculptris is just a bit too great to not to spend some time with.. ;D I know I'm putting out a few things, but actually most of the time I spend with it is my breaks. Most of my time right now is spent on a lot of 2d stuff and some animation.

Haven't really finished the modeling part, but I wanted to play around with the psd exporting to see how that worked. Tried using the original ref pic to project onto the model. Almost makes it look like I know how to paint...lol.

Not a lot of time on the weekends, and I wasn't in the mood to go back to that previous model so I started something new. I was originally thinking about trying something for that old man challenge since I really need to work with texturing. Was going to be a butler kind of character until I forgot what I was planning it to be...lol. Just kind of having fun instead for the amount of time I had.

wasa Is that video of the grab brush techniques out already?.. ;D And I'm not modest, I'm just my own worst critic. I'm still waiting for me to meet my own high standards of myself...lol. Looking back at some of those heads, honestly I do think a larger sized grab brush could do some wonders. Especially with that really bad smile on the old guy. With his chin coming out that way I really should have made the bottom teeth protruding over the top instead. Doing that, I'd have to retexture it, but since I need some more time learning that part, I may just do that.
qwerty Thanks. No smooth brush yet. All strictly the default draw brush at that point with a bit of crease around the eyes and to define the teeth from the head. I was heading to sleep and that was as far as I got with it before I posted. I did kind of like it though but it started to remind me of a chicken head when I opened it back up. So I started the all new chicken dragon. Just roughing out the shapes at this point.
