So I switched back to my old PC for a while just to have dabble with Sculptris. Result? I love it. I only had a 30 minute session and I've read nothing about the tools yet. I've seen Tarons little vids and that was pretty much enough to get me interested. I simply tried every tool and key command I could find. It all worked as I expected or better perhaps.
I used a little Wacom Bamboo instead of ripping out my Intuos 4 and that felt a little uncomfortable but not a problem.
I found everything I need for basic sculpting and I'll try some modeling from reference tonight instead of just freeforming. So far so good. No negatives to report from me.
AHAHA, THAT's awesome! Hilliarious guy for sure! Let me use this opportunity to joyfully say: I told you so! The upcoming version will feel like a giant leap and you'll instantly feel even more comfortable. Don't get to used to the exact controls of this version, because you'll be able to revert right back to what you're rather used to!
Well, it's beautiful and I know you're all going to enjoy it. You're still in charge and it's still "just" sculptris, no matter how much more fun it is. No need to put any more pressure on our precious DrPetter. He's already on fire.
Just hang in there, I'm sure it's close! Still time for you to practice your artistic intuition with the alpha.

This is just an amazing program. Can't wait for my mind to be "blown" with the next version. Always wanted to try one of these sculpt programs and this one was so easy to use. Some amazing sculptures seem to be being made already with it. Here's my first attempt at getting used to the tools.
