here´s the result of a sunday. Everything was made within SCULPTRIS (only several mesh reductions were made using Meshlab) starting with the sphere. The loops were made switching symetrie of and on again ( sometimes it happened that switching it off caused some crashes, but exporting to obj and reimporting is a workaround).
This is far of being ready... but that will need another sunday or maybe some bumpmapping?
Yup, I know already, of course... you can make a whole bunch of objects by zigzagging without symetry and switching it on after, too.
We should make a collection of vids that show tricks. I'm sure that's fun! I'm still hoping for a more ideal solution to flaps, wings and the likes. I've made 2 different approaches that seem interesting, but are still painful at the end, hehe. Naturally there are more...but 2 I've recorded.

Ah...havn't posted them yet... I'm kinda hanging in there in, waiting for something... cryptic...messages... from other dimension. Yes, it's about to happen, my brain's gonna pop, hating excuses, but being compelled to find one... LOL. Na, I just don't really like what I've done with it and want to make something really cool first. Once I know what I'm doing, I'll make a proper vid.
