I've just discovered this lovely tool, and I can now make music
Is there any (current) way to run these guys from the command line? In some sort of batch mode? I've done the 10 minutes of Google'ing and I didn't see anything but I might not know what to look for
... like if I have a src/resources/musagi folder, and I want to script make / Maven to run musagi across all of the .pmu files in there, and the put the results somewhere else ... has anyone done this?
Hey P, that's a wild request?! Why would you want to do that? Musagi is such a tiny and quick tool, you could render out songs just as easily through it. However, you can just download the source, since it is open source. If you are talking about a pure player that's a different story. That's something I was thinking about, too, for a while.
Anyway, WELCOME and don't hold back to share your songs/experiments! ...looking forward to hearing more!
I was thinking of putting a projects musagi files under src/main/musagi and configuring the build to automoronically fire musagi to export .wav and whatnot as a compilation step (I build this kind of crap for fun) since it'd let the devs avoid putting intermediate results in the source tree.
... because, that's how I roll (as the kids would say)
Eh...I never published that source and you don't really immediately need it either for what you're planning there. You could hook it up with the original source and then send me your additions/changes. Once it works I will share with you the full 1.68 source. I'm a little hesitant to make it public just yet.
