Yeah, you're probably right. But, I get lazy on the endings. Anyhow, new song called "Lonely Cricket". It marks my eighth month of composing, and is now my highest rated song on kongregate YAY!!!! Check it out...OR I KILL U!!!
Lonely Cricket, haha, that's funny. I didn't expect anyone to still do the most classic of all modern chord progressions, but it does reliably work, of course. It tends to be a wee bit on the doodley side and it could do with an extra sub-bass line and maybe some nice high-pitch helpers, but then...maybe that would take the cuteness out of it.
Dehmmn, that ìs short! But it sounds awesome! You could expand that for sure! You could even keep it as-is, and insert a break on the end. I can totally hear a switch to a different scale there, or to a 6/4 beat. @w@ But that's just my random brain. In short: it captivates immediately, but if it continues I think it needs some serious variation.
If you don't live for your dreams, you don't have much to live for.
Uh, really? Hmmm...sounds like this could really become a massive song! Focus, relax and make it happen! Let it open up and become bright and shiny, there's so much room out of the muffled elegance you're starting with. Kewl, can't wait to hear that one grow.
