I've been mucking around with sculpting additional details onto a low-poly mesh. This worked fine for a while, but every time I attempted to enter paint mode, sculptris crashed. After a lot of random fiddling I've done something that now means sculptris immediatley disappears as soon as I try and import any OBJ. Even ones which worked before!
What on earth have I done, and is it fixable?
EDIT: Additionally, alpha 3 can open the models fine, it's just the latest versions which crash :S Seems to be related to polycount as optimizing the mesh allows it to be imported, but they were being opened with no trouble at all before!

I have the same problem, when I try to import my UV-mapped model and go into Paint, it just crashes, doesn't even get past 0% (except for me it's not working on any Sculptris versions). I looked at all the other OBJ import threads, downloaded MeshLab and got rid of non-manifold geometry (but I don't think there is any!)... I'm guessing it is a problem with my mesh, since I tried a UV-mapped cube and that worked fine. But I just can't find anything wrong with my mesh!
I'm using Softimage Mod Tool 7.5. Btw does anyone know if Softimage has a mesh cleanup function similar to Maya?
