| | Multiple objects in Sculptris ? « Thread Started on Jun 9, 2011, 4:37pm » | |
DrPetters, I am very excited about Sculptris. I plan on making 3d modeling my career. Sculptris, I think, allows us to concentrate on creativity and not computer science. So as I am experiencing this gift and opportunity from you and Pixologic, I came to realize that Sculptris will be my main avenue to create organic shapes. I am committed to our future, wherever you and Pixologic may take it. Thank you for this opportunity.
How do we separate and combine objects in Sclptris like eyeballs in the eye socket. Adding shapes is easy. However the eyeballs I added seemed to have fused with my main model. Does Sculptris have layers in it?
Thanks, Nicksc

-CTRL + A select every objects at the same time, so you can sculpt on them like if it was a single object.
-CTRL + D deselect every objects, you can then left click on 1 object to select it , leaving the other object unselected SHIFT + left click to select more than one unselected object and sculpt on them like if they were one.
H + left click on an object (selected or not) you want to hide, so you don't sculpt or select it accidentally.
CTRL + H to un-hide everything.
Numpad 9 to hide the right side of the objects (right side according to the symmetry line when you're in front view) , even if they're unselected

What about painting individual objects in a multi-object sculpt? Like, if you want to paint the eyeballs of a model, but don't want the white to cover the rest.
